My mother. For me, she will always be known as Moo. Not sure how that nickname came about, but it stuck!

Slim and Sue at the reunion... What a great picture!

Here is Grand Slim in "teaching mode". He was showing everyone how to properly handle a gun. He always had so much patience for teaching others.

Slim was a heck of a shot himself. He really enjoyed all aspects of guns - shooting, reloading, etc.

Here is Grand Slim and Uncle Ron showing Connor how to shoot the shotgun.

Toni's office was kind enough to send us beautiful flowers in a very special St. Frances vase / statue (which is sitting outside of our house today).

Slim's interment was on October 12th, 2012 at 13:30. These were his remains and roses, which Sue brought, for us to lay at his grave.

Slim was placed into the ground...

And the hole was filled...

After the hole was filled, straw and grass was placed on top. Then, all of us laid roses on the grave. I placed the picture you see next to his temporary marker. I also sent "SK" in Morse code for Slim. It is an old Amateur Radio and military tradition to send this when a radio operator passes away. It means "Silent Key".
